I would like to continue using this opportunity to grow our local whoop culture and provide our FPV community with some warm fun indoor flying during winter months as well as an opportunity for community out reach. Being invited back and having a good recommendation for future events will be our primary goal as pilots attending this event.
I’m Feeling the momentum and this is gonna be a fun event, cant wait to Whoop it up with everyone for another year.

“Brock, Lanzetti, Ogawa” is the moniker for a new trio whose members are widely known through their association with the jazz-funk group Snarky Puppy. Zach Brock (4 and 6 string violins), Bob Lanzetti (acoustic and electric guitars), and Keita Ogawa (percussion) formed their new trio during the Covid-19 pandemic. Their music is an eclectic mix of styles that includes elements of jazz, folk, experimental, ambient, groove, and world music, and there is an emphasis on compositions that feature improvisation. The debut album by “Brock, Lanzetti, Ogawa,” entitled Drawing Songs, released November 2023 on GroundUp Music with a tour to follow.
Supporting Brock, Lanzetti and Ogawa will be local favorites Spunj playing as their alter-ego side project “Spun-plugged” focusing on groove oriented rhythms vs. their usual jamband roots.
This show is not to be missed and features world-class musicianship!

Spunj is a high energy, multi-genre four-piece based out of Eugene, Oregon. Using their diverse musical backgrounds and tastes, Spunj believes in making their live shows not just a musical performance, but an experience. The band incorporates classic songwriting with sections of improvisation to seamlessly weave from genre to genre while keeping the energy high and always danceable. Since 2019, the band has toured the Pacific Northwest relentlessly growing from playing bars and college parties to playing established and respectable venues and festivals and opening for major jam acts such as Spafford, Eggy, Twiddle, Lespecial, Cycles, and Yak Attack. The quartet has also released a full length studio album that is available on all major streaming platforms such as Spotify, iTunes and Bandcamp. Spunj plans to tour heavily in the West Coast with intentions to break out further into the United States.

Family Mystic is a four piece vocal ensemble surfing the ebb and flows of present day Portland, OR, redefining what making music from the deep realms of the heart can be. Vulnerable, poignant, dynamic, direct, and multidimensional. Merging elements of classic funk/soul, 60’s/70’s psychedelia, a splash of progressive jazz fusion, and tight vocal arrangements to answer the age old question “what genre is this music?” – FEEL GOOD MUSIC! Bringing people of all ages together. There may truly be a tasty treat for everyone within the mystical sounds of this family of brothers. In the three years since the band’s formation, Family Mystic has toured the west coast on multiple occasions. Making a name for themselves playing shows in parks and public spaces to bring the music to the people in times of need. They recorded/produced their debut studio album “Home in Your Heart” and live album “Live at Mt. Tabor Park 9/21/21”. Their sophomore 12-track studio album “Adventures of Nemara” is out December 21st, 2022, and was also self produced in their home studio, after recording instruments at Fortune Ave Studios. They now find themselves flourishing in the PNW venue and festival scene as they cultivate a vibrant network of music lovers, mystics, and families of all backgrounds and beliefs. They feel that the journey is just beginning as they step into the unfoldment of our destinies.
