NATSUKASHII SOUL are a 5-piece funk/acid jazz band from Eugene, OR. Killer vocals by Autumn Rose and top-notch trumpet work by Frank Visconti, backed by the rhythm section of Vince Panero, Milo Brosamer, and Elijah Wojcik. Natsukashii is the Japanese word pointing at the feeling you get when a sense (taste or smell usually) evokes a fond memory from your past. … But natsukashii – which derives from the verb “natsuku”, which means “to keep close and become fond of” – indicates joy and gratitude for the past rather than a desire to return to it. Check them out here – https://www.natsukashiisoul.com/
STRANGE ROTATION is a trio from Corvallis, OR. Loren White on bass, Galaxc Curnew on drums, and Ben Woodman on trumpet – pushing boundaries rhythmically and compositionally. Birthed from the ashes of a previous project BOO THE BAND, this trio is one of a kind. Check them out here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tada-i1KbqA
