Bella Rayne is a 18-year-old, self-taught guitar phenom from Mendocino, CA who is quickly making a name for herself in the music industry. Her love for the Grateful Dead, Southern Rock, 90s Grunge, and even a little Bluegrass, has been distilled into her own fresh approach that’s wowing audiences across the country. She carries the confidence, poise and talent of someone far beyond her years and this is a big reason why she’s already become a regular guest shredder, sharing the stage with heavy hitters including The Allman Betts Family Revival, Leftover Salmon, Melvin Seals & JGB, ALO, Jackie Greene, Oteil Burbridge and members of Terrapin Family in addition to performing as being invited to perform at several regional festivals including Bottlerock ‘25. She was even blessed with the honor of playing Jerry Garcia’s Alligator guitar which doesn’t just happen to anyone! Among her other notable achievements are playing at Oracle Park for SF Giants Grateful Dead appreciation night, features in several publications including Guitar World , Premier Guitar, and Guitar Player, and earning reputable industry sponsorships including Fender and Ernie Ball. If you need any further affirmation of her star on the rise, she was mentioned as one to watch by her idol, Susan Tedeschi in Guitar World Magazine…

Bella Rayne has recently formed her own band, Bella Rayne & Friends, a high energy, guitar-driven ensemble with a revolving lineup of all-star musicians that bring jam band twists to soulful Southern Rock classics… plus some originals. This was supposed to be a few show run, but has continued due an influx in requests. Bella Rayne & Friends debuted at the Sweetwater Music Hall in September and have since been in high demand, performing at the Hopmonk Tavern, Crazy Horse Saloon, The David Nelson Band Festival, and Felton Music Hall with more on the horizon. In addition, she also leads a Grateful Dead tribute, Looks like RAYNE, which pays homage to the catalogs of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band in Bella’s own unique style. In her free time, she’s been hitting the studio in hopes of releasing her debut EP in the coming months!

In addition to being a gifted visual artist, creating her own promo art, Bella’s improvisational guitar solos are remarkable and heartfelt and her story is not just about her own accomplishments; it is about paving the way for other aspiring female musicians to follow their dreams fearlessly. Through her music and unwavering determination, she encourages young girls to pick up a guitar and embrace their musical talents without hesitation. Beyond her impressive performances, Bella is dedicated to making a difference through music and has partnered with Grateful Guitars Foundation to actively promote music education in schools, using her growing platform to inspire and encourage young musicians through in-school presentations. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists says a lot about this young rocker and she tries to visit schools in conjunction with every festival she attends.

With a rich background in jazz and a joyful enthusiasm for blues and psychedelic rock, Andy Coe is recognized as a deeply intuitive, emotive guitarist. As an architect of sound and style, Coe draws in listeners, making collective exploration and resolution accessible across genres.

Andy has performed in many bands including Andy Coe Band, Rashied Ali Quintet, Robert Walter’s 20th Congress, Skerik Band, Bandalabra, Clinton Fearon, McTuff and many more.​

Originally formed to pay tribute to guitar hero and folk legend Jerry Garcia, the Andy Coe Band has evolved into the liveliest psychedelic jam band to come out of the Pacific Northwest in years. Guitarist Andy Coe, with Gary Palmer on keys, Chris Jones on bass, and Scott Goodwin on drums, deliver stellar improvisational tunes in mystical proportions.

Is there an age requirement?
Due to the content of the show, we require all audience members be 21 years of age or older.

Can we smoke inside the venue?
No. This is not an indoor smoking venue. That being said, we DO take an intermission for a reason and what you do once you leave the venue is your own business. We won’t stop you and we aren’t snitches.

Can we smoke with the comedians?
We book the comedians to be comedians. That means they are only required to tell jokes, smoke and tell more jokes. If they want to do the smoking part with everyone, we encourage it. Otherwise, it’s more about creating a comfortable environment for these comedians to smoke without having to worry about interaction with people. Some of the comedians do not regularly smoke and it is important that we keep them relaxed. We don’t want them to have a freak out because one of you is too intense.

MISSION

The Eugene Difficult Music Ensemble performs, and commissions underrepresented experimental works in order to open ears and minds. We work to expand the definition of what music can be and what music is capable of achieving, as well as who is capable of achieving it.

HISTORY

EDME was started in 2019 as a trio (soon turned quartet) that performed bizarre music in Eugene, Oregon, USA. Pre-COVID, we co-curated new music nights at venues not normally associated with composed music. We bridged the worlds of trained and untrained musicians, demonstrating the ways music unites us. These shows diligently provided program notes about composers and scores to audience members, whether performing in yoga studios, dive bars, game shops, or concert halls. Our Graphic Score Evocations, involving collective music-making through non-traditional notation, began drawing a following before COVID struck.

Our group maintained a commitment to music as a medium for all throughout the pandemic. We started a YouTube channel, now hosting 29 videos, and performed at outdoor events like LAC’s Open Air Studios, three ArtCity BEAM events, and First Fridays. We provided the soundtrack to a video installation at the Gordon Hotel’s Dimensions Between exhibition in June 2021. Our 2021 and 2022 Porchfest concerts featured the works of non-white and LGBTQ+ composers. Our livestreamed performance for Seattle’s New Works Project in September 2020 invited audience participants to a Zoom-style Graphic Score Evocation.

In May 2021, our Eugene Garbage Project livestreamed to a global audience. This event turned local residents into artistic contributors. We collected trash from the community and recorded sounds and visuals with it. This media became a concert-length work for voice and electronics broadcast from Eugene Contemporary Art on YouTube, and rebroadcast as part of BrainRave in July 2021. In October 2021, we converted the work into an interactive installation for BEAM. Audience members controlled the sounds and visuals on their own through motion-capture technology. We participated in BEAM the following year with our prepared light-up piano, programmed and installed with lights by EDME.

Since October 2022, our annual New Music Festival has brought guest artists, audience participation pieces, and novel experimental concert music to Eugene residents at various downtown locations. Female-identifying, LGBTQ+, and non-white composers are featured strongly among the nearly four dozen selected individuals so far. Our performers and guest musicians served over 150 audience members during the three-concert series its first year and over 200 its second. In 2024, we expanded to four concerts, including one hosted by Impulse Ensemble, and nearly doubled our audience size, and in 2025, we will host five concerts.

In May and June of 2025, we premiered our first ever Ambient Ecology series. This three-concert event brought calming, ecologically inspired works to Maurie Jacobs Park. Each concert opened with a Sonic Meditation by Pauline Oliveros. We plan to bring back the series in 2026.

ORNADA is the Armada Team Movie we’ve all been waiting for. It’s the culmination of Armada’s contribution to freeskiing and the culture that surrounds it. A two-year labor of love, ORNADA fuses revolutionary skiing and artistic vision into a one-of-a-kind film, accompanied by an original live scored soundtrack. It’s a journey to the dreamlike realms of the sport where the past and future intersect with surreal visuals featuring Armada’s endlessly imaginative athletes slaying everything from the steepest lines in AK to rowdy street sessions and elaborate park setups.
