Muse Art Mondays featuring `Olekona Light

MuseArt offers opportunities for artists of all skill levels and mediums to draw local musicians while they perform. An amazing multi-media art event!

Olekona (which means “Oregon” in Hawaiian) is an acoustic instrumental ensemble offering eclectic sounds of Hawaiian Slack Key (kiho’alu), blues, jazz standards and Brazilian traditions, while the blending guitar, ukulele, and bass to incorporate a unique fusion of styles and arrangements. The “Light” version of the group offers mostly songs in the Slack Key Tradition.
