MEDGE presents Wild Lotus!

Wild Lotus is a Eugene based belly dance group under the direction of local teacher Zahia Izzah. They define their style as “Sassy Egyptian Fusion”. Wild Lotus developed out of Zahia’s student troupe and several members have been performing together since 2014. They love to custom blend traditional and contemporary Arabic music into performances that are fun and entertaining for everyone involved! Wild Lotus is all about the sisterhood created in dance and about celebrating each member’s uniqueness. They enjoy exploring the many styles of Middle Eastern dance and giving each piece their own Wild Lotus flair. They can be found performing around Oregon and SW Washington, are frequent guest performers with Grrrlz Rock and are the house bellydancers for the “Miss Minsky Presents” variety shows at Old Nick’s.
